Job Description
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Sr Manager of Mission Readiness to join our rapidly growing Maritime division. You'll be a critical leader in the effort to advance and formalize Anduril's Mission Readiness capabilities across the Maritime Division, improving our ability to deploy, maintain, sustain, and scale the delivery of products in the field. Mission Readiness spans the connected lines of effort across Technical Publications, Curriculum Development, Customer Training, Customer Support, and Deployment Operations. This role owns the connective tissue between Maritime's Business Lines and Anduril's central Mission Readiness organization, so our operators and customers get a consistent, high-quality experience no matter which product they touch.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Division-Level Integration:
- Maintain a direct line to Anduril's corporate Mission Readiness team, pulling proven systems and best practices into Maritime.
- Reduce the time and cost impact of each Business Line solving the same problem independently, and assist where helpful to drive Mission Readiness-related cohesion at the division level.
- Act as the point of contact and coordinator for surge and permanent support from non-Maritime resources, ensuring genuine engagement, clear lines of delivery, expectations of performance, and accountability. Also flag gaps and new headcount needs across the Mission Readiness domain as they surface.
Consistency and Standards:
- Build standards across Maritime so training materials, documentation, and support processes look and feel the same regardless of business line or product. This is especially important as we push forward interoperable assets.
- Reduce fragmentation by consolidating next generation tools already built by the Business Lines and/or Corporate Anduril into shared systems where it makes sense: LMS platform, maintenance management portal, Foundry tooling, and ticketing system — to name a few.
Cross-Division New Capability Development:
- Serve as the top-down integrator for division-wide initiatives, such as product operations (a Maritime-wide call center) and customer experience (advanced training mechanisms like VR, LMS, and simulations).
- Lead sprints in partnership with the Business Lines, including but not limited to: cross-product internal training programs and product bootcamps for new and existing employees.
Customer Engagement Center (CEC):
- Own Maritime's Customer Engagement Centers end to end, spanning the facility space, the customer journey within it, and the on-site assets dedicated to training.
- Build the SOPs that let us say "go" quickly on VIP visits, demos, and training, and serve as the logistics point of contact for teams executing them.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in operations, program management, or a related cross-functional coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of bringing structure to ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across multiple domains such as engineering, field operations, and product managers.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Ability to travel as needed for execution of job responsibilities (up to 50%).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in defense, maritime, and/or autonomous systems operations.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally at a deeply technical level and in an unstructured environment.
- Strong outcome orientation with the ability to drive initiatives from inception and implementation to adoption.
- Willing and able to dive into tactical execution mode to move efforts forward.
