Technical Program Manager, Release & Certification

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Connected Warfare division builds systems to support global command and control missions — joint, time-sensitive, multi-domain, connected mesh ecosystems that bring together hundreds of thousands of endpoints across the globe. Within Connected Warfare, the Mission Command team builds and operates the software and hardware backbone that other Anduril business lines build on top of: the golden configurations and OS images that ship on every fielded system, and the certification and provisioning pipelines that get hardware out of the factory and into the field. This role owns the mechanics of how a build actually ships and how hardware actually scales.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the release process for golden configurations and OS images across Man Machine Interface (MMI) and Mission Command's fielded systems — own the calendar, the gates, and the go/no-go call for every release.
• Define and enforce the qualification bar a build has to clear before it ships: test coverage, regression signoff, security/compliance checks, and rollback plan.
• Build and maintain the certification pipeline that qualifies software and hardware builds for factory scaling and provisioning, working with manufacturing, test, and quality to close gaps before they hit the line.
• Partner with engineering to convert one-off releases into a repeatable, auditable process; drive down the manual steps and tribal knowledge required to ship a build.
• Be the point of contact for factory and provisioning teams when a release or certification blocks scaling; triage and drive to resolution.
• Track release health across versions, branches, and fleet, and report status, risk, and blockers to engineering and business-line stakeholders.
• Own the tooling and documentation for the release and certification process, and improve it as the fleet and product surface grow.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance
• 3+ years as a Technical Program Manager, release manager, or engineer owning software release or hardware qualification processes in an embedded, robotics, or systems environment.
• Direct experience with OS image builds, golden configuration management, or fleet-wide software release processes.
• Comfortable reading test/qualification data and making a go/no-go call under time pressure.
• Experience working across engineering, manufacturing, and quality/test organizations.
• Strong written communication — able to document a release process clearly enough that someone else could run it.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with hardware certification or provisioning processes in a factory/manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux, image-based deployment, or configuration management tooling.
• Experience scaling a release process from a small fleet to high-volume production.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
