We create joint, time sensitive, multi domain, ubiquitous, connected mesh ecosystems. Our ecosystem enables connected warfare with disproportional impact by connecting every mac robot, human, and sensor in every domain, bringing together hundreds of thousands of end points across the globe. Warfighter Systems (WS): Warfighter Systems brings cutting-edge technology directly to those on the front lines. ABOUT THE JOB
We're seeking an outcome-driven Software Engineer to build and scale our cutting-edge AR experiences. You'll own features end to end, collaborate across teams, solve complex architectural challenges, and ship work that reaches real users. The ideal candidate brings strong, hands-on Unity development skills and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, changing environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work closely with Product Managers, Business Development, end-users, and other engineering teams (internal and external) to plan, build, and test complex functionality across our SDLC, from concept through development, production, and fielding
• Write code that improves our products and expands the capabilities we can deliver on edge-deployed devices
• Get hands-on with cutting-edge hardware, owning the software integration
• Make architectural decisions that hold up as the product and the team grow
• Raise the bar on code quality, testing, and tooling for the whole team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of industry experience working with a variety of programming languages such as C#, Kotlin, Java, Python, etc.
• Unity Expertise (Proven, professional experience building and shipping projects in Unity and C#)
• Outcome Driven: You can take an ambiguous problem and drive to a solution without needing the work spelled out step by step. You measure success by outcomes shipped and impact delivered, not tickets closed.
• Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Must Be Clearance Eligible

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality results at pace, ideally within a startup or high-growth environment
• Experience integrating Unity-based applications with external hardware or systems (drones, robotics, sensors, wearables, or other edge devices)
• Familiarity with real-time data streaming, message passing, or protocols commonly used for system-to-system communication (e.g., gRPC, Protobuf, MQTT, WebSockets, ROS)
• Experience working with cross-platform or cross-service integrations, including consuming and designing APIs/SDKs across engineering teams
• Android development experience below the application layer
• A strong understanding of how software interacts with hardware, from device drivers and firmware interfaces up through the application layer
• Professional software development lifecycle experience using tools such as version control, CI/CD systems, and automated testing frameworks
