About This Role

We're looking for a Social Media Intern to help build Speak's presence on Xiaohongshu, Douyin, WeChat and other channels as we launch in a new market. You'll create localized content around English learning, AI and local trends, track what resonates, and help shape our content direction from the ground up. This is a hands-on role on a small, fast-moving team; you'll see your ideas go live quickly and learn what works with real users.

This is a hybrid role based in Shanghai, with onsite presence preferred.

What you'll be doing

• Support Speak's Xiaohongshu, Douyin, WeChat and other social media channels

• Create localized copy, visuals and short-form video around Speak, English learning and local trends

• Track content performance, user feedback and competitor trends, and help optimize our content direction

• Support UGC, Campus Ambassador and other organic growth initiative

What we're looking for

• Current undergraduate or graduate student; any major is welcome

• Deep familiarity with Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Bilibili or WeChat, with a strong sense for content and sharp eye for what users engage with

• Strong writing skills; video editing, design or account-operation experience is a plus

• Interest in AI and consumer products, and comfort using AIGC tools in your workflow

• Good English communication skills; international experience is a plus

• Able to work from the Shanghai office 3-5 days per week for at least 3 months
