Job Description

CHAOS Industries is redefining modern defense with a multi-product portfolio that gives the ultimate advantage—domain dominance. The company's products are powered by Coherent Distributed Networks (CDN™), empowering warfighters, commercial air operators, and border protection teams to act faster, adapt rapidly, and stay ahead of evolving threats.

CHAOS Industries was founded in 2022 and has raised a total of $1 billion in funding from leading investors, including 8VC, Accel, and Valor Equity Partners. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, with offices in Washington, D.C., San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, and London. For more information, please visit www.chaosinc.com.

Role Overview:

CHAOS Industries is an active acquirer, and the pace of that activity is only increasing. The M&A Integration Manager will own the work that begins the moment a deal signs by turning deal terms into an operating plan and tracking the success metrics associated with the transaction. This role required cross-functional process management between Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, HR, Engineering, and the acquired company's leadership team, and is accountable for making sure nothing that was negotiated in the deal gets lost, delayed, or misapplied during execution.

This is a build role. You will design CHAOS' integration playbook, run it on live deals, and refine it over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Own post-signing integration planning end to end: building and executing the concrete 30/60/100-day plan that turns deal terms into operational reality
  • Serve as the primary point of continuity between the deal team and the business, ensuring integration commitments made during diligence and negotiation are actually delivered
  • Stand up and run cross-functional integration workstreams spanning Finance, People, Legal, IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Facilities, and more with clear owners, milestones, and escalation paths
  • Track and report integration synergies, cost and revenue, against the assumptions used to justify the deal
  • Identify and manage integration risk, including disputes over deal terms (working capital adjustments, compensation claims) that surface after close
  • Manage post-close resolution of outstanding diligence findings, including contract renegotiation, open source issues, export controls analysis, and other potential areas of business risk
  • Build and maintain the standard integration playbook, templates, and cadence so each subsequent deal executes faster and more effectively

Minimum Requirements:

  • 6+ years in M&A integration, corporate development, or a related PMO/transformation role, ideally with direct exposure to post-close execution
  • Track record running multi-workstream plans across Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and other groups with hard deadlines and multiple stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity on time-sensitive deals, with the judgment to know when to escalate versus resolve
  • Experience in defense and/or aerospace preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to brief executives concisely and hold leadership accountable to integration commitments
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus

Why CHAOS?

  • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefits 100% paid for by the company
  • Additional benefits: 401k (+ 50% company match up to 6% of pay), FSA, HSA, life insurance, and more
  • Our Perks: Free daily lunch, ‘No meeting Fridays’, unlimited PTO, casual dress code
  • Compensation Components: Competitive base salaries, generous pre-IPO stock option grants, relocation assistance, and (coming soon!) annual bonuses
  • Team Growth: 350 employees and counting across 5 global offices
Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base compensation range and excludes additional earnings such as bonus, equity, and benefits. If your compensation requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
