Job Description

About Nebius:

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.

Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.

The role

We're looking for a Communications Designer to join our Design team: someone who doesn't wait to be briefed, but shows up with ideas, energy and a point of view. You will work with the Internal Communications and Employer Branding teams, making our candidate and employee experience feel as thoughtful and distinctive on the inside as our brand does on the outside.

This is not a pixel-pushing role. We want a creative thinker who brings inspiration from the best companies in tech, challenges the default and helps us build an employee brand we're proud of — one that people inside the company feel and people outside the company want to be part of.

Your responsibilities will include:

Internal Communications

  • Design and produce visual materials for internal campaigns and initiatives, from employee stories and milestone celebrations to company anniversaries, special dates and end-of-year moments.
  • Create banners, digital signage for office screens, all-hands presentation decks, templates and event materials that feel fresh and on-brand.
  • Design end-to-end event experiences — from save-the-dates and stage visuals to signage, printed materials and digital assets — for moments like the company anniversary celebration, end-of-year events and local office gatherings.
  • Own the visual identity of our employee portal, bringing structure, clarity and personality to how we communicate internally.
  • Collaborate with the internal comms team to translate messages and ideas into compelling visuals that land.

Employer Branding

  • Design content for our social media channels, careers website, and employee storytelling formats, helping tell the story of what it's like to work at Nebius.
  • Support recruiting events and talent-facing activations with materials that reflect who we are and attract the right people.
  • Contribute creative direction and production to employee storytelling across video, photography and social formats, from concept through delivery.

Systems & AI

  • Build creative toolkits and templates that let recruiters, ambassadors and employees tell the Nebius story consistently at scale — without a designer in every loop.
  • Develop and maintain AI-assisted workflows for recurring employee-comms formats, so routine assets are generated within the brand system rather than produced manually every time.

Merch & Brand extensions

  • Partner with our People Comms team on employee gifts (e.g. new joiners kit) and the employee merch store, helping develop new collections, creative pieces and seasonal drops that people want to wear and keep.
  • Bring a product mindset to merch: think about storytelling, quality and how each piece reflects our culture.

Creative Strategy & ideation

  • Proactively bring ideas to the table — from what you've seen at other companies, from cultural moments, from your own creative instincts.
  • Help us build a consistent visual language for our employee brand that works across internal and external touchpoints, while staying connected to Nebius's brand identity.
  • Stay close to trends in design, tech company culture, and employer branding and bring those insights back to the team.

We expect you to have:

  • 5+ years as a designer/creative focused on internal communications, employee branding, activations, and events.
  • A portfolio that shows both range and craft: campaigns, events, print, merch, presentations, social, digital — including work tied to notable employee moments and its impact. Not just a collection of internal decks.
  • Strong layout and composition fundamentals: typography, grids, visual hierarchy, and a consistent visual language across a large volume of materials.
  • Experience designing for physical spaces and events: signage, environments, printed materials, merch — with working knowledge of print technologies, materials, and production processes.
  • A systems thinker: builds toolkits and templates that let others produce on-brand materials at scale, rather than doing everything manually.
  • AI-proficiency: up-to-date knowledge of AI tools and a strong critical eye for results — from a design expert's perspective, not an average user's.
  • Strong visual storytelling instincts: you make information engaging, not just legible.
  • Experience working within brand guidelines while knowing how to push them in interesting directions.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, proactive and collaborative: you take a rough idea and make it real, share ideas before you're asked, give honest feedback.

Tools & skills

  • Figma (essential) — for design, prototyping, and collaborative handoffs.
  • Adobe Creative Suite — Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign for production work and print.
  • PowerPoint — you can make presentations that look like they were made by a specialist.
  • Motion or video basics (After Effects, CapCut, Canva or equivalent) is a plus.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Career growth and learning opportunities
  • Flexibility and ownership
  • Collaborative and innovative culture
  • Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
  • International environment and talented teams
