Job Description
We are looking for a Software QA Student to join our BlueField DPU testing team. This position will be part of the QA group, helping ensure NVIDIA products meet industry-leading benchmarks of efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will take part in testing DPU software and DOCA SDK features, learn new technologies quickly, execute manual and automated tests, and contribute to automation development.
What you'll be doing
- Review architecture designs and requirements for new features introduced in DPU software and the DOCA SDK
- Design, develop, and execute tests for new features as part of DPU software GA releases and update releases
- Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugging to help identify root cause, verify bug fixes provided by the R&D team, and raise issues when fixes are incomplete
- Automate newly added tests in the existing automation framework and add new capabilities and features to the framework
- Develop and enhance tools, applications, or processes to improve quality and test efficiency
- Collaborate closely with QA and R&D engineers while building hands-on experience in networking, software validation, and automation
What we need to see
- Student for a B.A. / B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Hands-on experience with Linux
- Background with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Java
- Strong motivation to learn, take ownership, and work independently
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
Ways to stand out from the crowd
- Experience in networking, test design, or test automation
- Hands-on programming experience in Python
- Familiarity with the DOCA SDK or CUDA SDK
- Experience with QA of SoCs with embedded processors
- Familiarity with automation infrastructure, tools, or framework design
