Accounting Enablement Manager

About the Team:

We’re hiring our first dedicated data governance team member to help build and scale our Data & System Governance processes and tools. As the Accounting Enablement Manager, you’ll own the day-to-day administration, support, and optimization of ERP-related master data objects. While operational support is a core responsibility, you’ll also contribute to automation initiatives, system enhancements, and cross-functional projects that improve business processes and bring efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes, and growing into ownership of increasingly strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting processes, hands-on experience with data analysis, strong project management skills, and the ability to work across departments to solve problems in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities. In this position you will act as end-to-end owner of the master data lifecycle while driving data governance best practices and owning data dictionaries for key finance objects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and publish data governance policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines for master data domains.
• Maintain the business glossary and data dictionary for key finance master data objects.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline master data requests, approvals, and maintenance of workflows.
• Monitor compliance with governance policies and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform data profiling, quality assessment, and KPI reporting on governance metrics, and support root cause analysis.
• Facilitate governance council or data stewardship councils with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• 3–5+ years of data analysis experience, with hands-on experience in master data management, data governance, or data analysis within a Finance organization at a publicly listed company.
• Experience developing and enforcing data standards, policies, and procedures across cross-functional teams in a SOX-compliant environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, and a builder mindset with a focus on delivering scalable and reliable solutions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with agility in the face of ambiguity.

• You’ve integrated finance systems and used data querying tools, and you’re familiar with data catalog and metadata management platforms.

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 to $153,000. The starting salary will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
