Silicon Co-Design Group (SCG) is a wide-ranging, multi-functional, integral team at NVIDIA. We sit at the crossroads of design, architecture, marketing, operations, and productization. We are seeking an experienced an Architecture Design Manager to lead architecture, methodology and delivery covering power rail noise, circuit behavior, performance and manufacturing quality. You will oversee system design, Simulation-to-Silicon correlation, features for product compliance and test chip development crating future product roadmaps. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in semiconductor/VLSI design and a background in translating product requirements into design and vice versa. This is a highly visible, multi-functional role to produce outstanding products that ship at Speed Of Light(SOL) and meet the high NVIDIA quality we demand and customers expect.
What you'll be doing:
Lead & Motivate: Oversee power noise, circuit margin, performance and manufacturing quality system design & validation; establish closed-loop methodologies and KPIs.
Prototyping & Left-Shift: Accelerate NPI via design/test left-shift, prototype emerging technologies to incubate new product features. Mentor engineers and set excellence & innovation benchmarks.
Navigate Complexity: Evaluate multi-functional impacts of complex features, propose design SOLs and coordinate cross-team execution.
Strategic Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with cross-functional teams to maximize product performance and quality.
Team Empowerment & Leadership: Foster an empowered, innovative and resilient team culture; coach members to tackle challenges and deliver standout results.
AI-Driven Engineering: Advocate secure, traceable, validated AI-assisted workflows, mandating human oversight for critical engineering judgements.
What we need to see:
BS/MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience
8+ years total semiconductor design experience, including a minimum of 5 years in technical leadership
Expertise in bridging hardware/software specifications and silicon implementation
Track record delivering simulation-to-silicon correlation, prototyping and left-shift methodologies covering power noise, circuit behavior, performance and manufacturing quality
Solid background in silicon bring-up, validation, test coverage optimization, yield ramp and quality issue resolution
Demonstrated success leading technical teams to meet critical project deliverables
Practical hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and AI-augmented engineering workflows
Exceptional communication and cross-team collaboration capabilities
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Hands-on experience designing GPU, CPU, SoC, AI accelerators or data center silicon
Familiar with RAG, AI agents, tool invocation, LLM benchmarking and engineering workflow automation
Proven record of technical innovation and published technical works
