Job Description
Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. Since its start as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has focused on building the Waymo Driver—The World's Most Experienced Driver™—to improve access to mobility while saving thousands of lives now lost to traffic crashes. The Waymo Driver powers Waymo’s fully autonomous ride-hail service and can also be applied to a range of vehicle platforms and product use cases. The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips, enabled by its experience autonomously driving over 100 million miles on public roads and tens of billions in simulation across 15+ U.S. states.
The Driver Understanding Software Quality & Experiences Operations team (DUSQE Ops) is at the heart of ensuring the safety, reliability, and quality of the Waymo Driver. - Act as the principal "go-to" authority and key link between engineering development and operational integration, proactively identifying solutions for complex operational challenges and risks.
- Mentor a high-performing team of Technical Specialists and Program Managers, fostering a culture of "quality-first" in a high-velocity environment.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in technical, or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience and proven ability to manage complex technical programs / tech-enabled operations, and work across cross-functional partners to drive outcomes.

- Proficiency in SQL and dashboarding (e.g., PLX/Looker), with the ability to navigate complex database schemas to inform decisions and drive automated reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a high ambiguity, dynamic environment.
We prefer:
