What You’ll Do

CoreWeave is seeking an experienced and strategic Staff PLM Analyst to join the Hardware Quality & Operations organization.  In this role, you will become the operational backbone of our product lifecycle management function by owning the strategy, standard, and governance within Product Lifecycle Management.  This includes maintaining the integrity of our product data, defining disciplined change management processes, and enabling cross-functional teams to work from a single source of truth. You will partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management to ensure our PLM environment accurately reflects the current state of our products from concept through end-of-life and can scale with the company. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in server architecture and PLM platforms, thrives at the intersection of process, data, and people, takes pride in keeping complex systems running smoothly, and is a strong mentor.

About The Role

BOM Definition & Strategy

  • Define BOM structure standards, templates, and governance policies used across the hardware organization.
  • Establish and continuously evolve BOM audit methodology, cadence, and escalation paths for systemic issues.
  • Review and mentor junior analysts' BOM work, coaching them on design intent, part relationships, and revision discipline.

Change Management

  • Own the strategic design and continuous improvement of the end-to-end ECO/ECN process, including governance model, escalation paths, and exception handling.
  • Chair or co-chair Change Review Board (CRB) meetings for complex, high-impact changes, driving alignment across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management leadership.
  • Assess the downstream impact of proposed changes on BOMs, documentation, inventory, and production schedules; communicate risks clearly to affected teams.
  • Maintain change history and audit trails in the PLM system to support regulatory compliance and internal quality standards.
  • Continuously improve change management workflows, identifying bottlenecks and driving process efficiencies.

Product Data Standards

  • Serve as the system administrator and data steward for the PLM platform, maintaining clean, consistent, and complete product records.
  • Manage and evolve part number creation, classification, attribute governance, and document control in accordance with established data standards.
  • Define and enforce naming conventions, part classification schemas, and metadata standards across the product catalog.
  • Support document lifecycle management, including controlled release, revision control, and archiving of engineering drawings, specifications, and related documentation.

Cross-Functional Support

  • Act as the primary PLM point of contact for Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management teams.
  • Train and support end users on PLM tools, processes, and best practices; develop and maintain training materials and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with ERP teams to ensure accurate and timely synchronization of product data between PLM and ERP systems.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs by ensuring PLM readiness at each program gate.
  • Partner with IT to manage system upgrades, testing, and configuration changes.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in a PLM analyst, product data management, or configuration management role including defining team wide processes and standards.
  • Strong understanding of server and data center architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Engineering Change Orders and change control processes in a regulated or structured engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of part lifecycle management, document control, and revision management principles.
  • Experience mentoring or developing other analysts, and building training materials or SOPs from scratch.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior cross-functional leaders and drive consensus on complex, ambiguous problems.
  • Comfortable owning outcomes with significant autonomy across multiple concurrent, high-impact initiatives.

Preferred

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in a PLM analyst, product data management, or configuration management role.
  • Deep familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and PLM-to-ERP integration workflows.
  • Experience owning NPI program gate design and phase-gate governance.
  • Knowledge of quality management principles
  • History of building or leading a team of PLM analysts
