About the Role:
Crusoe is seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Analyst to play a key role in ensuring effective cost management in a fast-growing business. As a Project Controls Analyst, you will be focused on project tracking, forecasting, performance monitoring, variance analysis, and corrective actions. This role will provide support to project managers and teams across a portfolio of projects. Reporting to the Project Control Manager the individual will work closely with Procurement, Accounting and Finance teams.
A Day In The Life:
Prepare project financial reports adhering to project controls best practices
Ensure accuracy of cost allocations and monitor purchase orders for cost coding
Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to establish project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
Track project actuals & EAC against baseline budgets
Monitor progress against milestones and identify potential issues and risks
Provide regular status report updates to project managers and stakeholders on project progress, including budget and schedule
Maintain organized project documentation
Review project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders in detail for financial impact and opportunities
Effectively utilize the right data, reports, and tools for analysis and benchmarking
You Will Thrive In This Role If You Have:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
2- 5 years of experience in cost controls or financial analysis.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Ability to multi task and balance responsibilities in a dynamic environment
High level of professionalism
Experience in construction, oil & gas, or engineering industry preferred
Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of $45 - $50/hr. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
